Weston-super-Mare is no longer the sleepy Victorian town
that only came alive when the tourists arrived. It is a
vibrant and bustling town that provides employment for the
many traders that operate in the town. Weston-super-Mare
Town Centre Partnership was established in 1998 to help
develop the Town Centre, to support the traders and to
provide a safe, friendly and lively place for people to come
to shop and work.
There is
considerable cooperation between the TCP and the Police,
Local Council CCTV and businesses in Weston-super-Mare via
the Radio Link network in this pursuit. The video below
explains how this network operates.
Weston
Town Centre Partnership involves businesses that operate in
Weston-super-Mare. Within this area there are hundreds of
businesses, small and large, that operate in the town. Many
of these are members of the Partnership and contribute
towards its operation.
Within
the Town Centre you will find a comprehensive range of
architecture, gardens, cafes, restaurants, small specialist
shops in the labyrinth of back streets and of course the
traditional High Street shops.
Weston is a safe place to shop with ample secure car
parking, wide and well maintained pavements and pedestrian
only areas.
This web site will provide details of how to join the
Partnership, what the Partnership aims to do, the team,
Radio Link and we have a photograph gallery of
Weston-super-Mare with a virtual tour of the town.
There is also a secure section for our members to view
minutes of meetings and other documents that are specific to
the Radio Link membership.
Please take time to browse the web site and gain a better
understanding of how we are working together to maintain and
improve the trading environment.
